| Shipping Policy |
SHIPPING: Shipments using standard SEQUEL TECHNOLOGIES designated ground carriers are freight prepaid. PURCHASER is responsible for freight charges on all orders unless otherwise agreed to by Sequel Technologies. An additional $15.00 charge applies to orders under $50.00. Expedited delivery charges requested by PURCHASER will be paid in full by PURCHASER. SEQUEL TECHNOLOGIES shall not be liable for failure of delivery or late delivery or performance due to (i) a cause beyond reasonable control, (ii) an act of God, act or omission of PURCHASER, act of civil, military or governmental authority or priority, delay in transportation, or (iii) any other commercial impracticability.
TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP/RISK OF LOSS: SEQUEL TECHNOLOGIES and PURCHASER agree that SEQUEL TECHNOLOGIES’ responsibility for any loss or damage shall cease and title shall pass to PURCHASER when product is delivered to a common carrier of SEQUEL TECHNOLOGIES’ choosing, to PURCHASER, or to PURCHASER’s agent, whichever occurs first, irrespective of provisions of the Uniform Commercial Code, unless prior agreement states otherwise.
CLAIMS: Receipt of goods shall be deemed acceptance of goods received as provided in this paragraph. All claims for damaged goods, shortages, delays in shipment or delivery, or any other cause shall be deemed waived and released by PURCHASER unless made in writing within seven (7) business days after receipt of the goods. Upon verifying the validity of a claim, SEQUEL TECHNOLOGIES will apply a merchandise credit commensurate in the amount of the approved claim to PURCHASER’s account. Original shipping cartons must be saved as claims and are typically not processed without them. Refer to policies of the specific carrier for more details on claim procedures.
COD Delivery: Additional carrier charges may apply on COD shipments. Any such charges will be added to the product invoice.
